La haine quotes
I honestly didn't think I would ever read a french book again, but this was so good! Mostly because this storyline is so exciting, the characters are so authentic and the scenes are so picturesque. Luckily with each page I managed to retrieve some of the knowledge buried in the depths of my brain. It wasn't easy at first, as my last french lesson lies, as already mentioned, 8 years back. So I found my old, battered and stained copy of the La Haine Scénario and the first line (the one at the top of the review) got me so hooked that I wanted to make it trough the book this time. In the course of watching french movies like "Irreversible", "Les Misérables" (from 2019) or "Enter The Void", one of the next movies in line to (re-)watch had to be "La Haine".
